A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Quality Engineer to join a leading aerospace manufacturer based in Sheffield. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a salary of £40,000 plus a strong benefits package. You’ll be joining a dynamic and collaborative environment focused on high standards, quality compliance, and continuous improvement.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct internal audits and ensure adherence to quality standards including AS9100 and ISO9001.
- Investigate non-conformances and lead root cause analysis and resolution activities.
- Maintain and update business management systems to reflect current processes and standards.
- Review technical specifications and drawings to ensure product compliance.
- Generate and report on quality performance metrics across teams and projects.
What Experience is Required
- Previous experience in a Quality Engineering role, ideally in the aerospace sector.
- Internal auditing qualification (minimum ISO9001) ideally with working knowledge of AS9100.
- Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
