Financial Accountant - Interim
CV Screen is recruiting for an Interim Financial Accountant to join a well-established UK manufacturer and service provider within the safety and compliance sector. Based in Chesterfield, this office-based role offers a salary of £55,000 plus excellent benefits and runs through to December 2026. As the on-site finance lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving financial performance, strengthening controls and partnering with operational leaders. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified finance professional seeking a long-term interim contract with real influence and visibility across the business.
Duties & Responsibilities

Lead the month-end process, producing accurate management accounts with insightful variance analysis

Take full ownership of the balance sheet, reconciliations and financial controls

Oversee manufacturing finance activities including inventory, WIP and cost analysis

Support budgeting, forecasting, cashflow reporting and working capital management

Act as key contact for auditors and ensure compliance with statutory and IFRS reporting
What Experience is Required

Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) with strong Financial Accountant or Finance Business Partner experience

Background in manufacturing or stock-focused environments

Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience (NetSuite or similar)
