Finance Manager - Part Time

Salary up to £45,000 FTE
We’re looking for an experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial operations. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you’ll manage reporting, budgets, controls and compliance, while improving processes and providing a reliable finance service across the organisation. This is a part time role covering 32 hours per week and if you have experience working within the education sector, this would be highly desirable.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Manage day-to-day finance operations and reporting.
- Prepare management accounts, forecasts and reconciliations.
- Oversee payments, invoicing, credit control and cash flow.
- Coordinate payroll, pensions and banking activities.
- Support budgets, year-end accounts and external audits.
- Maintain effective financial controls and compliance.
- Improve finance systems, automation and processes.
- Provide clear financial information to support decision-making.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Strong experience in a senior finance role.
- Confident preparing accounts and financial reports.
- Experience managing payroll, banking and receivables.
- Education experience would be highly desirable
