Event Manager – Membership Organisation
Remote with UK travel

We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for an Event Manager to join a leading membership organisation. This role is perfect for a proactive and experienced event professional looking to manage a variety of events for a dynamic community of educational institutions across the UK. The position is based remotely, with occasional travel around the UK, and offers a competitive salary of £40,000 along with excellent benefits. You’ll be involved in delivering impactful events and activities that support the advancement of education and professional development for educators.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Organise and deliver a variety of events for members, including conferences, seminars, workshops, and award ceremonies.
- Manage all logistics associated with event planning and execution, both virtually and in-person.
- Oversee budget management and ensure cost efficiency across all events.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to create a tailored events programme.
- Coordinate with marketing and external sponsors to enhance event promotion and maximize financial support.
What Experience is Required:
- Proven experience in event management, with a strong portfolio of both virtual and in-person events ideally within the fundraising function of a non-profit or membership organisation.
- Experience in managing event budgets and working with sponsors to drive event success.
- Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
