A Tourism Operations Manager with solid Catering experience is required by our client based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. A salary of up to £42k basic is available.

The Tourism Operations Manager will have a critical role in the operational management and development of a family attraction in the Gloucestershire area. You must have strong budgetary and staff management as well as a background managing Catering retail environments. An interest in horticulture and farming is useful, as this attraction has lots to offer.

The Operations Manager will plan and organise business strategy according to customer needs. You will grow existing revenue streams and look at continuous improvements across the business. You will develop the marketing strategy and managing the marketing agency as well as develop and employ creating marketing techniques to promote the business.

There are major changes coming the commercial catering outlets, so excellent knowledge of Catering, retail, hospitality is very important. Beyond Food and Beverage management you will manage marketing and social media, financial management and budgets, health and safety, growth and development of the staff and the attraction.

The role is designated to succeed the General Manager.

Salary:

Basic salary to £42,000 with discretionary bonus.
