A highly organised Account Manager with experience of delivering exceptional customer service is required by a well-established educational tours organisation based in Blackburn. A salary of up to £26,000 plus commission is available.

In this varied role, you will be responsible for promoting the full product range to the higher educational market, developing and maintaining long term relationships with sporting clubs and educational establishments and providing top customer service to new and existing clients.

You will liaise with both suppliers and clients directly, to ensure the successful arrangement of the travel, accommodation and required visit elements of the tour or event. 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous Account Managment experience preferably within the Events and educational travel market both face to face and over the phone.
  • An understanding of school and club sports tours and an active interest in sport or events in general.
  • Knowledge and experience of selling to both clubs and educational establishments.
  • Proven experience and full understanding of delivering exceptional customer service
  • Ability to resolve problems, work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work as under own initiative, and essentially as part of a wider team
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise workload and be highly organised
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and accurate written and spoken English
  • Commercial & financial awareness and be numerate
