CV Screen is currently recruiting an experienced Practice Accountant to join a highly regarded Chartered Accounts Practice based in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and committed Accountant to become part of our client's flourishing practice, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional financial services to our diverse range of clients. Your proficiency in financial record management, tax return preparation, and audit procedures will greatly contribute to the growth and success of our clients' businesses. Previous experience in auditing would be advantageous in this role.

Duties and Responsibilites

• Compiling statutory accounts
• Generating corporate tax returns in compliance with legal requirements
• Proficiency in self-assessment is necessary
• Collaborating with clients to acquire appropriate source documents
• Communicating with HM Revenue & Customs to address client concerns

Required Skills:

• Proficient in Word and Excel
• Familiarity/experience with accounting software such as Sage, Xero, and FreeAgent
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a comparable role within a professional setting
• AAT/ACA/ACCA Part Qualified or Qualified, or equivalent experience (QBE)
