We are currently seeking an experienced Head of IT to lead and define the IT strategy for a renowned and thriving company based in Wakefield. As the Head of IT, you will be responsible for managing the systems architecture and infrastructure, supporting the business strategy, and exploring new opportunities to leverage technology for competitive advantage and ROI growth.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drive operational efficiency and superior customer service levels through an optimized global systems infrastructure and processes.
  • Collaborate with the CEO to envision and shape the future IT landscape, aligned with the business strategy and three-year plan.
  • Develop and implement the IT strategy to realize the company's vision and objectives.
  • Provide expert thought leadership to enhance business processes and performance.
  • Maintain and enhance the systems architecture to support the organizational roadmap.

What Experience is Required:

  • Over 10 years of experience in senior IT roles, leading technology teams and driving business transformation.
  • A proven track record in technology architecture development and implementation.
  • Excellent understanding of computer systems, security, networks, databases, and telecommunications.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Circa £60,000 per annum.
  • 23 days annual leave + bank holidays, increasing to 25 days after 2 full calendar years.
