PR Account Director - Travel/Hospitality

As a PR Account Director, you will be working across luxury travel and restaurant clients, running concurrent travel and food and drink campaigns. Directing a team of three, we are looking for a strong leader, with a proven ability to multi-task and at least three year’s agency experience – travel PR experience in the UK and overseas imperative. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Overseeing PR campaigns from creative brief to implementation and delivery 
• Presenting pitches, proposals an reports to clients and key stakeholders 
• Securing top tier media coverage 
• Generating creative content/ideas for clients 
• Delegating to and managing a PR team 
• Nurturing current client accounts
• Developing senior press relationships and managing contacts with key commentators, industry spokespeople and sector influencers 
• Overseeing provision of account resources 
• Formulating business strategy in conjunction with other directors

What Experience is Required:

• Senior experience within a travel or travel-focused PR agency 
• Keen networker and adept at building relationships with key influencers and industry spokespeople 
• Expertise at handling a range of media to place products, grow brands or pitch for new customers 
• A strong industry network and contacts with senior journalists and members of the press 
• Excellent project management skills with strong organisational and planning skills 
• Commercial acumen and experience of developing new business 
• Management experience of developing star performers and overseeing performance 
• Experienced at winning new clients and pitching for business 

Salary & Benefits:

• Competitive salary of up to £55,000 per annum.
