CV Screen is recruiting for an IT Support Engineer for a well-established company. The role is hybrid with ideally three to four days a week in the office in Hull and a salary of up to £30,000 is available.

ROLE DETAILS
Your role as IT Support Engineer will sit within the Technical Services team, the successful candidate will be innovative, collaborative and driven and ultimately responsible for providing 3^rd line ICT support to the business.

Working to ITIL principles, the successful candidate will be working with all infrastructure servers and services and assist with monitoring all to ensure a high level of support and continued operational effectiveness for all users.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES:

-          Perform in-depth diagnostic tests and troubleshooting

-          Maintain an accurate record of all issues encountered

-          Maintain customer service levels

-          Assist with the configuration, administration and management of servers, operating systems, applications, networks (LAN and WAN) and telecommunications infrastructure

-          Assist the IT Support Technicians in resolving user support requests and acting as 3^rd line support for these services and support requests

-          Attend educational programs, workshops and seminars

REQUIRED SKILLS

The IT Support Engineer will have the majority of the following experience:

-          Previous experience in a similar position providing 3^rd line support

-          Excellent knowledge of Windows Operating Systems (Client and Server)

-          Knowledge of Windows Server usage functions

-          Excellent knowledge of mobile device and application management

-          Hypervisor technologies, specifically VMware

-          Good understanding of networks and configurations

-          Experience with security management solutions, including endpoint protection

-          VoIP telephony systems

-          Full driving license and access to own transport

SALARY:
Basic salary up to £30,000
