Food Operations Manager

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of 10–15 food production staff, ensuring consistent quality and high standards in food preparation.
• Oversee a team of pickers, packers, and support staff to meet shipping SLAs and operational targets.
• Implement and monitor HACCP and food hygiene principles, creating an exemplary food-safe environment.
• Actively engage with customer feedback to maintain a customer-focused, high-performance culture.
• Review and optimize order management practices and supply chain processes to improve efficiency and reduce wastage.

What Experience is Required

• Proven track record of managing food production teams to achieve quality and cost targets.
• Strong understanding of HACCP, food safety, and supply chain processes.
• Hands-on leadership style, willing to support the team during peak times.
• If you speak Urdu or Punjabi - this will be a huge advantage.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: £55,000 per annum.

Location

This role is based in Reading and is commutable from:

• Slough
• Basingstoke
• Oxford
• Newbury
• Maidenhead

The position is fully office-based, Monday to Friday.
