Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Salary of £35,000 - £40,000 + 15% Shift Allowance
CV Screen is recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business. The role is located just outside Cardiff and fantastic opportunities for training and development exist for the right candidate.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Respond to machine breakdowns
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs
- Support installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment
- Maintain accurate maintenance records
- Work with production and engineering teams.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Time-served apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Proven experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong fault-finding skills.
- Happy to work shifts
LOCATION
Cardiff - Commutable from nearby locations such as Caerphilly, Newport and Bridgend.
