Practice Accountant

We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established and forward-thinking accountancy firm based in Newquay, Cornwall. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Practice Accountant to join a friendly and supportive team in a growing firm that works with a diverse portfolio of clients, including business owners and private individuals. Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee a varied client portfolio, including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships

• Review and supervise work produced by junior staff members

• Provide coaching and mentoring to less experienced team members

• Deliver tailored accounting and taxation advice to clients

• Ensure compliance with internal processes and contribute to KPIs and performance targets

What Experience is Required

• Previous experience within a UK-based accountancy practice

• ACCA/ACA/CTA qualified or qualified by experience (QBE)

• Proven ability to manage a client portfolio and supervise staff
