Salary of £27,000 - £31,000 + Annual Bonus

CV Screen is recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a fantastic company based in Hartlepool. You will be joining a friendly, rapidly growing business who are committed to providing exceptional service to their customers.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Manage supplier setup, PO/invoice processing, coding, and reconciliations.
• Resolve supplier queries, maintain inbox turnaround, and support depot purchasing.
• Maintain contract/utility trackers, flag expiries, obtain quotes, and recommend renewals.
• Post/reconcile daily payments, prepare weekly payment runs, and allocate correctly.
• Oversee ledger close-off, reconciliations, and accruals.
• Produce KPI reports, improve processes/automation, and ensure VAT/card compliance.
• Review open POs with managers and ensure timely invoice sign-off.
  
  

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Ideally you should have previous purchase ledger experience.
• You must have previous finance experience.
• AAT Level 3 preferred, but QBE considered.
• Able to multi-taks in a busy working environment.
• Excellent Excel skills

LOCATION:

Hartlepool - Easilly commutable from nearby locations such as Middlesbrough, Sunderland, Darlington and Newcastle upon Tyne.
