Assistant Accountant – Part Time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Part Time Assistant Accountant to join a well-established renewable energy business based in Davidstow, North Cornwall. Duties & Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.

Maintain accurate ledgers, including purchase and sales invoices, reconciliations, and journal postings.

Support in the preparation of budgets, VAT returns, and annual accounts.

Provide financial analysis to support projects and business decisions.

Handle general finance administration, including responding to supplier and client queries.
What Experience is Required

Part qualified ACA/ACCA or fully qualified AAT (or equivalent).

Strong knowledge of Sage Accounts and Excel.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Salary & Benefits

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 FTE (pro rata for part-time hours).

Location
The role is based in Davidstow, North Cornwall. It is easily commutable from Launceston, Bude, Camelford, Wadebridge, Bodmin, and Okehampton.
