Assistant Accountant

Duties & Responsibilities
- 
Prepare and manage service charge budgets across multiple developments
 
- 
Perform bank reconciliations and manage daily banking activities including payments and transfers
 
- 
Reconcile administrative, legal, and service charge-related accounts
 
- 
Support the setup of new developments and oversee financial handovers for outgoing properties
 
- 
Provide accurate financial reports and respond to accounting and year-end queries
 
What Experience is Required
- 
Previous experience in an accounting or assistant accountant role, ideally within property or service charge environments
 
- 
Strong Excel and general Microsoft Office skills, with excellent attention to detail
 
- 
AAT qualification or equivalent accounting knowledge would be advantageous
