Credit Control Manager - Law Firm
Central London
Salary of £45,000 - £50,000 + Hybrid Working

CV Screen is recruiting for a Credit Controller to join a fantastic legal firm based in Central London. You will be joining a friendly, rapidly growing business who are committed to providing exceptional service to their clients.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Monitor aged debts and manage debtor days.
• Assess new clients and set credit limits.
• Maintain effective credit control procedures.
• Report on debtor positions and cash forecasts.
• Negotiate payment plans to protect the firm.
• Chase overdue payments efficiently.
• Escalate issues and liaise with partners/fee earners.
• Collaborate on resolving billing queries.
  
  

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• AAT Level 3 or equivalent; CICM qualification or working towards (desirable)
• Knowledge of credit control, debt recovery, financial reporting, and legal billing practices
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office
• Experience managing and mentoring junior staff
• Skilled in resolving disputes and handling sensitive conversations

SALARY & BENEFITS:

• Salary up to £50,000 depending on experience.
• Hybrid working - 2 days from home
