CV Screen is recruiting for an experienced Garment Technologist to join a well-established and growing business within the apparel and lingerie manufacturing sector. Based in Harrogate, this is an office-based role offering a salary of £30,000 – £40,000 plus an excellent benefits package. The business designs and delivers high-quality garments to major retail customers, working closely with overseas manufacturing partners. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded Garment Technologist who enjoys owning the technical process end-to-end and playing a key role in delivering quality products to market.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Work closely with design teams to ensure garments are technically sound, cost-effective, and production-ready

• Create and manage detailed technical specifications and documentation for production

• Own the critical path, ensuring samples, approvals, and bulk production remain on schedule

• Lead fit sessions and manage sealing processes through to final approval

• Liaise with customers and factories to resolve technical and quality issues

What Experience is Required

• Proven experience as a Garment Technologist within apparel manufacturing

• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and production methods

• Excellent communication skills and confidence working with factories and customers

This role is based in Harrogate and is easily commutable from Leeds, York, Knaresborough, Ripon, Wetherby, and Skipton.
