Accounts Payable Manager – Retail
Overview
CV Screen is recruiting for an Accounts Payable Manager to join a well-established retail and consumer brand based in London. This is a hybrid role offering a salary of £45,000 plus an excellent benefits package. The successful candidate will take ownership of the accounts payable function within a growing finance team, supporting a business that has been operating for over a decade, employs over 100 people and has built a strong reputation for quality, ethics and innovation within its sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced AP professional looking to step into a visible, value-adding management role.
Duties & Responsibilities

Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring invoices and expenses are processed accurately and on time

Lead and develop the accounts payable team, setting clear processes and controls

Manage supplier relationships, resolving queries and discrepancies efficiently

Support month-end close activities, reconciliations and reporting

Drive continuous improvement, particularly following a recent ERP system implementation
What Experience is Required

Proven experience in accounts payable with some team leadership or supervisory responsibility

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and experience using ERP systems

Confident Excel skills and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Skills and experience in processing 'Goods Received' invoices.
