Salary of £30,000-£35,000 

CV Screen is recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a fantastic, rapidly growing business based near Poole. This is a varied, fast-moving role supporting the Financial Controller, focused on delivering accurate finance operations while driving automation and smarter ways of working.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

 

  • Assist with monthly management accounts
  • Handle high-volume accounts payable and supplier reconciliations
  • Prepare and check payroll data
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations and journals
  • Support cashflow forecasting, budgeting, and year-end close

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

 

  • AAT qualified or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of AP, payroll, and general ledger
  • Experience with VAT returns and management accounts
  • Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivots, modelling)
  • Problem-solver with an interest in automation and AI
  • Experience with Xero or similar accounting software
