The Opportunity

CV Screen is recruiting for a Accounts Assistant to join a well-established and growing business based in Milton Keynes. This is a fantastic hybrid opportunity offering a salary of £33,000 plus an excellent benefits package. Working across a diverse group of successful businesses specialising in digital marketing, mobile technology and media services, you'll support the day-to-day finance function and gain exposure to a varied workload. If you're AAT qualified (or studying), have bookkeeping experience and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your finance career.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Process daily financial transactions, including purchase and sales ledger activities.
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records using accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.
• Assist with reconciliations and support month-end finance processes.
• Prepare and post journals, including accruals and prepayments.
• Work closely with the finance team across multiple group businesses to ensure accurate financial records.

What Experience is Required

• Previous experience in a Finance/Accounts Assistant, Bookkeeper or similar finance role.
• AAT qualified or studying towards AAT/ACCA, with a sound understanding of accounting principles including accruals and prepayments.
• Experience using QuickBooks or Xero, together with strong attention to detail.
