The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Accountant to join a well-established and growing property management business based in Nottingham. This is a full-time, office-based position offering a salary of £35,000 plus an excellent benefits package. Working for a privately owned organisation with many years of industry experience, you'll become part of a friendly and professional finance team supporting a national property portfolio. This is an ideal role for an organised finance professional looking to develop their career within a successful and expanding business.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare service charge budgets and assist with financial reporting across multiple property developments.
- Complete bank reconciliations, payments, transfers and other daily financial transactions.
- Support service charge accounting, including reconciliations and responding to finance-related queries.
- Assist with the financial set-up of new developments and property handovers.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure accurate financial records and excellent client service.
What Experience is Required
- Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant or similar finance role, ideally supported by an AAT or equivalent financial qualification.
- Strong Excel skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied workload.
- Experience within the property sector, particularly service charge accounting, would be a significant advantage.

This office-based role is located in Nottingham and is easily commutable from Derby, Mansfield, Newark-on-Trent, Loughborough, Grantham and surrounding areas.
