Sportswear Account Manager (Scotland)

CV Screen is delighted to be recruiting a Sportswear Account Manager on behalf of a well-established sportswear and teamwear supplier, working across an in-house sportswear brand as well as a range of third-party brand partners. Based at the Edinburgh branch, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced account manager to take ownership of key sportswear accounts and play a central role in driving new business growth across the UK. You'll need to be Scotland based and able to attend the Edinburgh office three days a week.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Managing the core sportswear requirements of existing accounts, plus new enquiries from across the UK
- Overseeing the direct supply of staff and team sportswear
- Building and executing longer-term strategic account plans to grow sales and raise brand awareness
- Maintaining strong, high-level relationships with customers
- Supporting selling events and branch activity during peak periods, liaising closely with buying, branch and customer service teams
What Experience is Required
- Confident and professional communicator, experienced in contract negotiation and tender/proposal writing
- Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Good understanding of garment compositions and manufacturing processes
Salary & Benefits
£38,000 - £40,000 per annum, plus a car allowance (or company car), 4x salary life insurance with an employee assistance programme, company pension, staff discount, and a generous holiday allowance that increases with length of service.
Location
Based in Edinburgh, with an easy commute from Livingston, Dunfermline, Falkirk, Musselburgh and Dalkeith.
