People Operations Manager - 3 Month Temp Contract

CV Screen is delighted to be recruiting a People Operations Manager for a well-established national charity near High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. This is a great opportunity to lead recruitment from attraction to offer and help hiring managers secure high-quality people quickly. You'll also support the day-to-day running of a busy People and Culture team, including HR systems and payroll. The role starts as a 3-month temporary contract with a view to becoming permanent. It is hybrid and pays £41,000 plus benefits. It would suit a hands-on people professional who enjoys improving processes and wants their work to support a meaningful cause.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment process, working closely with hiring managers and the People Team Executive
- Deliver a great candidate experience that leads to successful hires and smooth onboarding
- Help run the People and Culture team day to day and line manage the People Team Executive
- Keep employee data and the HR system accurate, and support the monthly payroll cycle
- Find ways to streamline people processes and produce reliable people dashboards
What Experience is Required
- Proven talent attraction and recruitment experience, ideally within a people or HR team using HR systems
- Strong organisational, project management and process improvement skills
- Confident with Excel and Power BI, with a good grasp of people policies and excellent communication skills
