CV Screen is delighted to be recruiting an Interim Head of Marketing on behalf of a leading international schools group, on a 6-month contract paying £85,000. This hybrid, UK-based role involves regular travel across the group's UK schools. Our client is a highly respected education provider with a strong reputation. As senior marketing lead for the UK portfolio, you'll strengthen school brands, sharpen propositions and drive enrolment growth. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a visible, measurable impact in premium education.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Shape tailored marketing strategies for each UK school, turning group priorities into clear growth plans
  • Build distinctive brand positioning and parent propositions, raising standards for creative and messaging
  • Direct integrated demand generation across digital, paid media, SEO, social, PR, events and offline channels
  • Partner with Admissions and Parent Experience teams, using funnel and ROI data to guide investment decisions
  • Advise school leaders and lead UK marketing teams and agencies to deliver consistently high-quality work

What Experience is Required

  • 6–8 years' marketing experience, ideally in multi-site, premium consumer, education or service-led settings, plus a relevant degree
  • A proven record of delivering integrated 360 campaigns and managing agencies
  • Strong analytical, commercial and influencing skills; CRM (HubSpot/Dynamics) or independent schools experience is a bonus

Salary & Benefits

£85,000 for a 6-month contract, with hybrid working. Benefits include 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays, birthday leave and an Aviva pension (5% employer and 3% employee contribution). After probation, you'll also receive single-cover private healthcare, a healthcare cash plan and life assurance at 2x salary. Some flexibility for occasional evenings and weekends around open days and school events is required.

Location

UK-based, with regular travel to school sites. The role suits candidates within easy reach of major transport hubs such as London, Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol, Reading or Leeds.
