Purchase Ledger Supervisor – Wokingham, Berkshire
CV Screen is delighted to be recruiting a Purchase Ledger Supervisor on behalf of a well-established services group based in Wokingham. Paying up to £35,000, this is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the purchase ledger across a group of companies. You’ll report directly to the Financial Director and lead a small team of two. It’s an ideal next step for an experienced purchase ledger professional who is ready to lead, with real scope to shape processes and drive improvements.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the purchase ledger team, overseeing invoice processing, coding and approval across multiple group companies
- Manage UK, overseas and urgent supplier payment runs, maintaining strong payment controls and banking processes
- Complete supplier statement reconciliations, monitor aged creditors and resolve supplier queries and disputes
- Support weekly cashflow forecasting, audits and the wider finance team’s working capital goals
- Drive automation and process improvement, and look after the group’s lease car fleet
What Experience is Required
- Solid purchase ledger / accounts payable experience, ideally across multi-company ledgers
- Experience leading or supervising a team
- Confident using ERP systems and electronic invoice workflows, with strong reconciliation skills and excellent attention to detail
Salary & Benefits

Location
Wokingham, Berkshire (office based 4 days per week). Easily commutable from Reading, Bracknell, Winnersh, Woodley, Twyford, Crowthorne and Sandhurst.
