Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and best practices in the education sector.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to senior leadership and the governing body.
- Oversee payroll, procurement, and financial controls, ensuring efficiency and value for money.
- Identify funding opportunities, including grants and additional income generation strategies.
What Experience is Required
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) or equivalent senior finance experience.
- Proven track record in financial management, with strong leadership and strategic skills.
- Experience in education, public sector, or a regulated environment (preferred but not essential).
