Duties & Responsibilities

As an Accounts Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Processing purchase invoices, preparing weekly payment runs, and managing expense claims.
• Handling credit control and resolving finance queries from clients and team members.
• Conducting daily and monthly reconciliations for bank accounts and balance sheets.
• Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts and assisting with month-end processes.
• Contributing to the improvement of financial systems and processes while completing ad-hoc tasks as needed.

What Experience is Required

To excel in this role, you’ll need:

• Experience working with accounting systems (knowledge of Xero is advantageous).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office programs.
• A solid understanding of bookkeeping and accountancy practices, with AR/AP experience being a plus.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: £25,000 per annum.
