CV Screen is recruiting for a Financial Accountant with experience in the Industrial Sector to join a £12mn turnover company. The company was established 30 years ago and have won numerous awards for the innovative approach to sustainable business.
This is an office based role full-time as you will be alongside other management and Directors to provide information and give the company direction as well as the operations and finance.
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience as a Financial Accountant or Finance Manager within a small finance team and will be keen to progress into the lead Finance role within the business. The role will initially manage one member of staff and opportunities exist to progress to your career.
The Financial Accountant role will involve a high degree of hands on where you will engage with operations, get out on the shopfloor and be able to identify exactly what the numbers and data you work with mean.
Initially you will focus on preparing monthly management accounts for the MD and senior management team. There will be a requirement to travel to sites throughout the UK on an ad hoc basis to assess stock and the financial accounts of each site.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Previous experience as a Financial Accountant, Finance Manager or Company Accountant for a mid-sized business (turnover of £10mn to £20mn would be ideal)
- Proven experience of producing Management Accounts
- A good knowledge of SAGE
- You will be ACCA / CIMA certified or part-qualified
SALARY & BENEFITS:
A salary of up to £42,000
