Financial Manager - Automotive
Salary Up to £50k DOE
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance professional to join an automotive business based in Buntingford, Hertfordshire.
This is a standalone Finance Manager role where you will be responsible for managing all the day-to-day financial operations for this exiciting motorsport company.
Responsibilities include:
- Dealing with sales invoices and customer receipts. Construction of customers invoices statements and customer communication.
- Full control of purchase invoices. Scan through Zahara and ensure charges to relevant cost centres.
- Oversee nominal ledger activities. Produce journals and posting. Deal with fixed assets and depreciation.
- Review invoice/billing and credit control processes, ensuring accurate cash receipts and payments.
- Approve vendor/supplier invoices and employee expenses, ensure P&L coding are used correctly and that payments are processed on time.
- Perform Balance Sheet account reconciliations checking P& L.
- Dealing with Bank accounts and investments daily ensuring maximum interest received and debits covered.
- Tax calculations, returns, payments and planning
- Support the annual audit preparation dealing with Auditors.
- Produce 2 weekly payroll, pay and submit to HMRC. Product journal and pension details/payments.
What Experience is Required:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or QBE with similar level experience.
- Experience running all financial functions within a company in a standalone role.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills. Dealing with banking and investments
- Ability to analyse and evaluate all information effectively.
- Proficiency in various accounting packages – Sage is essential.
- Ability to use Zahara with connection into Sage.
- Sage Payroll experience.
- Strong Excel experience
