CV Screen is currently recruiting for a talented and driven Semi Senior Accountant with experience of XERO to join a leading accountancy firm in London. The role will see you work on a remote basis with monthly team meetings London and offers the opportunity to work in a flexible supportive environment offering a great salary of up to £33,000 dependent on experience.
You will join a rapidly expanding Practice where you will work as a Semi Senior Accountant and look after a diverse range of clients including a number of tech startups. The organisation currently employs 5 staff and it is fully anticipated that the role will evolve to see you take responsibility for mentoring more junior staff and taking on more responsibility.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
- Preparation of VAT, corporation and personal tax returns.
- Offer expert advice and resolve queries for a portfolio of clients in a timely manner.
- Managing and mentoring junior team members and working alongside client managers and Senior Accountants.
- Working with a high-calibre and highly professional client base.
Skills Required:
- Previous experience in an accountancy firm (ideally 2 years).
- Strong knowledge of XERO
- Strong excel skills.
- You will ideally be AAT qualified or part-qualified ACCA / CIMA
- Strong tax knowledge and the ability to provide direct advice to clients.
Location:
Remote working however candidate may need to travel into London monthly.
