CV Screen is recruiting for a PHP Developer with knowledge of Symfony for a well-established eCommerce Agency. The role is Leeds based in a hybrid role (2-3 days in the office per week) and a salary of up to £50,000 is available.

ROLE DETAILS
Your role as PHP Developer will see you develop large applications for a wide range of businesses.

As an experienced Web Developer, you will be responsible for developing websites for external clients utilising in depth PHP, Symfony and MySQL skills.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

-          Translate project specifications and tickets into clean, secure, test-driven, easily maintainable code.

-          Adhere closely to project plans and deliver work that meets functional & non-functional requirements.

-          Create new, innovative, secure and scalable features for our clients’ web applications.

-          Troubleshoot, debug and optimise applications.

-          Anticipate and adapt to changes in project specifications and/or schedules during development.

-          Work with QA team to implement appropriate testing and mitigate regression.

REQUIRED SKILLS

The Web Developer will have the majority of the following experience:

-          Proven experience working in backend web development using PHP.

-          Experience with Symfony framework.

-          Working knowledge of eCommerce platforms (desirable)

-          Use of ORMs such as Doctrine (and ideally SQL knowledge)

-          Working regularly with APIs and Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc)

-          Working knowledge of React and NextJs

SALARY:
Basic salary up to £50,000
