CV Screen is recruiting for a Finance Manager for a fantastic company. The role is office based in Colchester and a salary of up to £45,000 is available.

ROLE DETAILS
The Finance Manager will support the Financial Controller in a range of reporting and general accounting tasks along with other ad hoc responsibilities.

The position is varied and can offer an increased scope of work as the individual progresses, with regular exposure to the CFO.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

-          Purchase invoice upload processing and supplier statement reconciliation

-          Processing of credit card transactions

-          Tracking and processing of revenue

-          Calculation of prepayments/accruals/deferred income

-          Presenting formal pack of balance sheet reconciliations to the Financial Controller

-          Posting of project costing transactions, and preparation of project cost reports

-          Assisting with management accounts, overhead budgets and variance analysis

-          Assisting with year-end, audit preparation and tax analysis

REQUIRED SKILLS

The Finance Manager will have the majority of the following experience:

-          Qualified ACA/ACCA or similar would be highly desirable

-          Background in accountancy practice/audit strongly preferred

-          Previous experience of Sage advantageous but not essential

SALARY:
Basic salary up to £45,000
