Financial Accountant - Part Time - 25 hours per week
Cheltenham
£40,000 to £45,000 DOE plus bonus 

We are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to join a fast-growing luxury travel company based in Cheltenham.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will be responsible for all aspects of the production of management accounts, sales reporting, forecasting, VAT reporting, providing information for annual audits and assisting with annual budgets and forecasts.

Responsibilities:

• Processing all the transactions, ensuring they are consistent with the CRS

• Weekly sales reporting.

• Reporting to the CAA to maintain the ATOL licence.

• Quarterly VAT reporting under TOMS.

• Currency requirements forecasting.

• Liaising with and providing information for the annual audit.

• Assisting in the development of annual budgets and forecasts.

• Maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.

• Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations.
  
  

What we are looking for:

• Professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• Experience of Sage 50 and bespoke systems
• Travel reporting experience is desirable 
• Competency with a range of Microsoft packages, with advanced Excel skills.
• Exceptional numeracy and analytical skills.
• Accuracy with a keen eye for detail and spotting inconsistencies.

Salary & Benefits: 

• £40,000 to £45,000 per annum FTE

Location and Working Hours: Cheltenham, minimum 25 hours per week. Hybrid working, Tuesday - Thursday in the office, Mondays and Fridays can be worked remotely.
