Introduction:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled 3D CAD Designer to join a leading medical technology company. The role is based four days a week in Oxford and one day from home and offers a competitive salary of £40,000 along with excellent benefits. You’ll be responsible for 3D printing and ensuring the highest standards in medical device production.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- 3D printing of medical devices using FDM, SLA, and Polyjet technologies.
- Post-processing, finishing, and inspecting 3D-printed outputs to ensure quality.
- Managing manufacturing and quality processes, contributing to continuous improvements.
- Performing regular maintenance and calibration of 3D printers.
- Collaborating with the Engineering and Sales teams to deliver products to hospitals.
What Experience is Required:
- Proven experience in 3D printing technologies, such as FDM, SLA, and Polyjet.
- Experience in a similar role, ideally within a medical device or engineering environment.
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems, such as ISO 13485 or 9001.
Salary & Benefits:
Up to £40,000.
- Up to 12% annual bonus, paid bi-annually.
