A Payroll Systems Manager is required by our client based in Solihull, West Midlands. A salary of up to £35k basic is available dependent upon experience.

The purpose of the Payroll Systems Manager role is to manage the financial systems, conduct the internal payroll and providing finance support to the Finance Controller. The incumbent will have extensive payroll systems knowledge and will be able to troubleshoot effectively as required.

The Payroll Systems Manager will be a passionate and experienced accountancy and payroll professional, adept at managing internal and external stakeholders, approachable and flexible to engage effectively with colleagues and influence stakeholders.

The successful candidate will preferably have an accountancy qualification (in full or part) and the CIPP Diploma or Foundation Degree in Payroll (though experienced candidates with a similar pedigree will be considered). A strong track record in delivering and driving best practice and continuous improvement as well as driving internal and external customer service for the respective teams is essential.

Requirements:

-          Manage monthly Payroll, Year End, internal compliance and auditing

-          Manage the finance systems, raising issues with the systems provider (Sage)

-          Work regularly with Sage Line 50

-          Contribute to the strategic planning and business growth

-          Support the Financial Controller and ensure financial targets are met

Applicants should offer a recognised accountancy qualification (full or part qualified) as well as strong knowledge of Sage Line 50 and / or 200. A Payroll Manager with CIPP will suit this role well.

Salary:

Basic salary from £30k to £35k basic plus 25 days + Pension Plan + Healthcare
