Finance Manager

£45,000 to £50,000 DOE plus excellent benefits

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join a rapidly expanding financial services and business solutions provider, who specialise in HMRC compliant R&D tax claims for Multinational businesses and ambitious SMEs across the UK. 

This Finance Manager role will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of an organisation, ensuring effective financial planning, analysis, and management. Preparing accurate financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, as well as monitoring cash flow and managing the organisation's financial resources. 

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions
• Oversee financial department employees, including financial assistants and accountants
• Contract outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary
• Track the company’s financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
• Research and analyse financial reports and market trends
• Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making
• Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports

What we are looking for:

• CTA /ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• Prior corporate tax experience
• Possess working knowledge of R&D Tax legislation
• Confident interacting with clients in a professional and competent manner.
