Bookkeeper – Part-Time

A fantastic part-time opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a well-established accountancy practice based in Paisley.

Are you an experienced bookkeeper looking for a flexible, part-time role? A growing accountancy firm in Paisley is seeking a skilled professional to join their friendly team for 2 or 3 days a week. With over a decade of success supporting small and medium-sized businesses, this firm is known for its personalised service and strong client relationships. The role offers a salary of £30k pro rata, alongside excellent benefits, including private medical insurance and free on-site parking.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accounts for limited companies and sole traders

  • Complete Corporation Tax and Self-Assessment tax returns

  • Prepare and submit VAT returns

  • Communicate with clients via email and phone, resolving queries and gathering information

  • Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients to address and resolve issues

What Experience is Required?

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an accountancy practice

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills

  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software

  • £30k pro rata (based on a 35-hour full-time equivalent)
