Finance Assistant - Hybrid Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join a leading, well-established insurance firm based in London. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Record and match clients' premium payments on the ledger
- Reconcile underwriters' payments and address discrepancies
- Liaise with underwriters to resolve issues during internal credit control meetings
- Send statement chasers to brokers/insureds and manage queries
- Prepare and issue broker commission statements, and investigate anomalies with other departments
What Experience is Required:
- Proven experience in a finance role, particularly with high-volume transactions and journal postings
- Strong proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience of working in a fast paced IBA (accounts receivable) environment is desirable
- Previous experience with SUN and Dynamics 365 is preferred but not essential
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary: Circa £30,000 per annum
