Practice Manager – Accountancy Firm

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Practice Manager to join a growing accountancy firm. The role is based in hybrid with four days in the office and one day from home and a salary of up to £80,000 is available. The firm provides expert services across audit, tax, and business advisory, including specialist work in the Charity and Not-for-Profit sectors. You’ll lead a diverse portfolio of clients and support the firm's strategic growth while mentoring a high-performing team. This is a key position for a seasoned audit and accounts professional
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead audit and account assignments from planning to completion across various entity types, including charities and limited companies.
- Review working papers, files, and tax computations ahead of sign-off.
- Oversee and develop junior team members within the practice.
- Provide clients with timely and insightful financial communication and advice.
- Support Directors on ad hoc projects and prepare for future RI status.
What Experience is Required
- ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent experience) with plenty of practice experience.
- Proven experience managing audits and delivering end-to-end client assignments.
- Strong technical understanding of FRS and ISA standards.

Location
The role is hybrid with four days in Swindon and one day from home.
