Operations and Warehouse Director

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Operations and Warehouse Director to join a long-established and highly respected business based in Warwick. With over 50 years of success in delivering quality educational and consumer products across the UK and Ireland, the company continues to expand its operational footprint. Offering a salary of up to £60,000 plus excellent benefits, this on-site position provides an exciting chance to lead a major warehousing and distribution operation, driving efficiency, safety and strategic growth.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multi-site warehouse operations, ensuring efficient fulfilment, logistics and distribution performance.

• Drive continuous improvement in safety, productivity, and quality across all operational teams.

• Oversee inventory control, transport and facilities management, ensuring full compliance with health and safety legislation.

• Develop and implement operational strategies to support business growth and sustainability goals.

• Provide leadership to motivate and empower teams, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.

What Experience is Required

• Proven experience in senior warehouse or operations leadership, ideally within a multi-site or high-volume environment.

• Strong background in team management, process improvement, and budget control.

• Experience in facilities, transport/vehicle and health & safety management (CPC or NEBOSH qualifications desirable).

Salary & Benefits

A salary range of between £50,000 and £60,000 has been set (dependent on experience), together with a comprehensive benefits package including pension, life assurance, and generous holiday entitlement. Location

The position is based on-site in Warwick, easily commutable from Leamington Spa, Coventry, Stratford-upon-Avon, Banbury, Rugby, Solihull, and Kenilworth.
