We are seeking a motivated IT Support Engineer to join a forward-thinking organisation, providing hands-on IT support across multiple school sites in Romford. This field-based role is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys variety and working directly with staff across different locations. You will play a key role in maintaining and developing IT infrastructure, supporting end-users, and contributing to strategic IT projects while ensuring reliable, high-quality service delivery.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide field-based IT support across multiple sites
• Act as escalation point for complex technical issues
• Maintain and optimise systems, servers and networks
• Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure
• Deliver IT projects (upgrades, migrations, rollouts)
• Ensure security, compliance and data protection
• Mentor and support junior team members
  
  

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Strong IT support and networking experience
• Confident with servers, infrastructure and networks
• Skilled in diagnosing complex hardware/software issues
• Understanding of cybersecurity and GDPR
• Experience using systems such as SIMs, MS Office, Impero would be desirable. 
• Education sector experience is highly desirable

LOCATION

This is a full-time, field-based role across multiple school sites in Romford (36 hours per week, year-round).
