Backend Engineer - Python

Salary up to 80k


We are seeking a Backend Engineer to design and scale backend systems, helping to build automated solutions for regulatory reporting and risk platforms. You will play a key role in developing data pipelines, improving system architecture, and turning complex financial requirements into reliable, production-grade software.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain Python backend services and data pipelines
• Build automation workflows for reporting and data processing
• Work with financial datasets (CSV, Excel, APIs, databases)
• Ensure code quality through reviews and best practices
• Contribute to system architecture and scalability
  
  

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Strong Python development experience
• Solid understanding of data structures and software design
• Experience with backend systems or data pipelines
• Ability to review and improve code

IDEAL SKILLS:

• Experience with Airflow or similar tools
• Knowledge of CI/CD and GitHub
• Cloud experience (AWS or similar)
• Experience with Excel automation (pandas, openpyxl)
• Exposure to financial or risk concepts
