Management Accountant – Exeter – £40,000 + Excellent Benefits

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a successful and well-established organisation based in Exeter. Offering a salary of £40,000 plus an excellent benefits package, this hybrid role is office-based four days per week with one day working from home. Working for a respected business with a long-standing reputation, you'll play a key role in supporting financial reporting, budgeting and commercial decision-making. Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and supporting journals.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations, control accounts and the fixed asset register.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and KPI reporting for senior management.
• Oversee payroll data preparation and provide cover for customer invoicing and credit control activities.
• Produce financial information for external stakeholders and support statutory accounting processes.

What Experience is Required

• AAT Level 4 qualified (or above), or equivalent finance qualification.
• Previous experience producing management accounts within a busy finance environment.
• Strong Excel skills with excellent analytical and communication abilities.

This office-based role is located in Exeter and is easily commutable from Exmouth, Crediton, Cullompton, Newton Abbot, Honiton, Tiverton and surrounding areas.
