CV Screen is delighted to be recruiting a Head of IT on behalf of a well-established, award-winning construction services group operating across the UK. Based in Harrow, this senior role is office based with some flexibility and offers £85,000 plus bonus and benefits. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will shape the group's technology strategy and lead a small in-house IT team, ensuring technology supports a growing, multi-division business. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced IT leader to take real ownership and make a visible impact at senior level.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Set and drive the IT strategy, advising senior leadership on technology risks and investment
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of three, building a collaborative, high-performing culture
- Oversee infrastructure, networks and systems, keeping services secure, resilient and scalable
- Own cybersecurity, compliance and accreditations, including GDPR, incident response and business continuity
- Manage the MSP and other suppliers, negotiating contracts and delivering IT projects on time and within budget
What Experience is Required
- A proven track record in a senior IT leadership role
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure, cloud and enterprise systems, ideally including M365, Sophos, Veeam and Mimecast
- Expertise in cybersecurity and risk management, plus the flexibility to respond to issues outside normal working hours when needed
Salary & Benefits
£85,000 plus bonus and a company benefits package.
Location
Harrow, Middlesex. The role is office based with some flexibility, and it is an easy commute from Wembley, Pinner, Stanmore, Edgware, Ruislip, Northwood, Kenton and Watford.
